LIFE Academy helps secure UB's WURI Entrepreneurial Spirit ranking

The University of Baguio ranked 47th globally by the World Universities with Real Impact (WURI) for its remarkable entrepreneurial spirit through an announcement released on May 18, 2023, during the third Annual Conference of the Hanseatic League of Universities Conference at the Florida Gulf Coast University, Fort Myers, Florida, SA.

 

Recognized to be of contribution to UB’s current WURI ranking under the Entrepreneurial Spirit is the School of International Hospitality and Tourism Management’s very own LIFE (Livelihood and Innovation for Excellence) Academy. The LIFE Academy was born from the dedication of SIHTM towards its mission to train worldwide experts in the industry which was further geared towards the need to capacitate future industry professionals and the community with the knowledge and skills to venture into limitless opportunities in the hospitality and tourism industry. The SIHTM’s thrust is to continue fostering an entrepreneurial mindset among its students through its various programs and initiatives where creativity and innovation are encouraged.

 

Besides the LIFE Academy, UB's Entrepreneurial Spirit was secured by driving its students’ entrepreneurial skills through dedicated courses and mentorships.
