November 14, 2025, will forever be one of the most unforgettable days of our student lives. As proud members of Aurum Harmonia, the School of International Hospitality and Tourism Management’s official chorale, stepping onto the UB Gymnasium stage for the Paskua’t Pino: Interschool Christmas Chorale Competition felt like entering a world we built together, one filled with music, friendship, and shared dreams. When they announced that we had won 1st Runner-Up and Best in Choreography, it felt as though every late-night practice, every struggle, and every laugh had finally come together in the most magical way.
Our performance was more than coordinated voices and synchronized movements; it was the product of countless hours spent in practice rooms, laughing, adjusting, repeating, and perfecting. On stage, we felt our collective energy rise as our voices blended and our choreography came alive. In those minutes under the lights, we weren’t just performers—we were a family, united by music and purpose.
Representing the School of International Hospitality and Tourism Management (SIHTM) made the moment even more meaningful. We carried not only the pride of our organization but also the spirit of the UB–SIHTM community, its creativity, resilience, and heart. This achievement stands as a testament to our teamwork, dedication, and unwavering commitment to musical excellence.
Our experience also connects to SDG 4: Quality Education, reminding us that true learning extends beyond academic work. Through this competition, we grew holistically, cultivating discipline, honing creativity, strengthening teamwork, and building the confidence to perform before a crowd.
Looking back, we realize that this journey was never just about winning. It was about the friendships we strengthened, the confidence we built, and the memories we created. Most of all, it was about discovering what we could achieve when we believed in our music, and in each other.
From the four walls of our practice rooms to the bright lights of the stage, Aurum Harmonia proved that passion, teamwork, and heart shine the brightest. And as we move forward, one thing remains certain: our harmony will always be golden.
