Certified ‘competent’ it is again for the School of IHTM as one of its faculty members — Ms. Jennifer S. Sese, has successfully unlocked another achievement, alongside Ms. Josefa Angelica Remedios P. Cabuang who was also a former SIHTM mentor. These faculty members authored a paper titled "Content analysis of online complaints regarding hotels in Baguio City", and has been published in the European Online Journal of Natural and Social Sciences, Vol. 11, No 4 (s) Special Issue on Hybridity in the New Reality, 121-141 (December 2022) | ISSN 1805-3602. In this regard, Ms. Sese received a Research Publication Award from the Commission on Higher Education - Office of Planning, Research and Knowledge Management and the Cordillera Administrative Region on January 20, 2023, during the Gawad Parangal 2022 New Year’s Call 2023 held at Teng-ab Pastoral Complex Auditorium in Bontoc, Mountain Province. At the same event, the University of Baguio was awarded by the Commission on Higher Education – Cordillera Administrative Region (CHED-CAR) Research Publication Capacity Building under the Academy for Higher Education Faculty Members’ Advancement and Development (AHEAD) Cordillera Program for being a higher education institution with the highest number of international research publications and researchers for 2022 as a result of the Kabadang 3.0 Cardinals Edition. This, therefore, is a clear reminder and a motivation for the SIHTM family to further strengthen its research endeavors.
