Mentors from the University of Baguio’s School of International Hospitality and Tourism Management (UB-SIHTM) served as panel reactors during the 17th and 18th EdukCircle International Tourism and Hospitality Conventions held virtually via Zoom on October 1, 2022, and March 11, 2023, respectively.
Six mentors reacted to global issues presented by professors from renowned universities in Canada and the United States of America during the 17th EdukCircle International Tourism and Hospitality Convention. The international professors shared their best practices in their respective Universities and research-based outputs, while the SIHTM mentors were given the opportunity to share their thoughts and insights, as well as ask for the best advice on how these practices could be applied in the Philippines.
During the 18th EdukCircle International Tourism and Hospitality Convention, 11 UB-SIHTM faculty members served as panel reactors. With the various global trends and issues in the hospitality and tourism industry presented by the professors from universities in the United States of America, New Zealand, Australia, Macau, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom, the SIHTM mentors, alongside faculty members from other colleges and universities in the Philippines, were allowed to have an exchange of viewpoints with the said international professors. Similarly, the best advice on how the sustainable practices presented could be applied in the country was sought by the SIHTM mentors.
