Kicking off virtually last October 14, 2022, was another thrilling event in the School of International Hospitality and Tourism Management, the Organizational Fair. The yearly gathering of the SIHTM organizations provides a venue for students to discover more and be members of any of the 9 existing SIHTM organizations offering different specialties of the students in line with their passion, talent, and skills.
The event was full of opportunities to connect to new friends and further equip themselves with competent characters, skills, and talent through the help of their participation in different organizations that can be instrumental to becoming globally competitive individuals in their fields for their professional endeavors.
The Organizational Fair 2022 formally commenced with the opening remarks delivered by Ms. Joan S. Florague, the Student Body adviser, followed by the presentations of the SIHTM organizations where each organization showcased their organization’s objectives as well as their current and future activities for the students starting with the Travel Club, Young Innovative Chefs (YIC), Front Liners Club (FLC), and Association of Student Restaurateurs (ASR). After that, to break the ice, the SIHTM Special Performing Arts members entertained the audience with their graceful moves. Then the presentation continued with the SIHTM Special Performing Arts (SPA), Student Bartenders Organization (SBO), Organization of Student Patissiers (OSP), and Honor Society (HONSOC). As the event reached its end, Ms. Joan S. Florague and the Student Body encouraged students to explore and grab all the opportunities offered by the SIHTM organizations to become empowered and competent professionals. Indeed, when the time comes to explore the world outside the school, the School, the Student Body, and the Organizations will always back you up with the character they have built within you for your future endeavors!
